Yet Another Day in Yosemite, May 18, 2002
Saturday was my last chance to go climbing before immersing myself in three days of finals hell. I have three physics finals, all at 8 am, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: E&M, quantum, and classical. I should be studying right now, but I'm taking a quick break.
Anyway, on Saturday I climbed at Pat and Jack's Pinnacle area with Viv, Charlie, and Scott. Charles joined us in the afternoon.

Charlie on "Sherrie's Crack."

Vivian.

Scott on the first pitch of "Nurtle."

Scott.

Charlie, Viv, and Scott.

Viv on "Book 'em, Dano."

This route has some pretty height-dependent moves on it. Here's Viv looking up at the thin edge, out of her reach, that she has to use to lunge to the big knob above.

A very cool multicolored lizard.

Charles on "Knuckleheads."

Amy on the same.

Scott.

It's gettting warmer in the valley, but the Merced is still very cold!
