Southwest Trip, Summer 2001
The first summer after I started climbing---the summer after my sophomore year in college---I went on a road trip through the southwest. I started by driving out to Zion National Park with my dad and brother; then I worked for a week at an astronomy camp at the University of Arizona; and then I met up with Brian in Tucson. From Tucson, we worked our way back to California, climbing in Arizona, Nevada, and lastly, Tuolumne.
