Some miscellaneous pictures from the summer, mostly of family and friends.
Aaron and I met my family in Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and saw King John, Two Gentlemen of Verona, and The Merry Wives of Windsor, bringing the number of Shakespeare plays I haven't seen down to only 5.

Uncle Peter, Mom, me, Aaron, Jami, and David.

Peter and Mom looking at Peter's digital camera.

Amy and Mom.
These were the first few pictures taken with a short-lived camera, the Canon SDsomething or other, which was not especially durable. Aaron and I flew out to SoCal to visit our families and friends.

Aaron and his dad coming out of the waves at Santa Monica beach.

Aaron.

Aaron, Elliot, and Irv on the trail to Mt. San Jacinto.

View over towards Suicide Rocks. We started the hike from Idyllwild.

Some white flowers. We saw great wildflowers on this hike, from columbine to lupine to others I can't name.

Team blue: Elliot, Aaron, and Irv. I didn't take many pictures after this because I dropped the camera and it ceased working. We made it to the peak, Mt. San Jacinto, right before the sky opened up and it started to rain; we took refuge in the little hut near the summit until it cleared somewhat, but we got rained on quite a bit as we hurried out. We got soaked, and it was very cold---Southern California in July!
Here are a few drive-by pictures from the drive out to the Enchanted Tower near Datil, NM.
