A few pictures from Diablo and then a warm day of spring skiing. At Diablo, Aaron (and I, but he did all the hard work) put up a new route on the Sun Devil/Winter Wall. It is a 140' 5.10 that follows a beautiful arete, with the crux as the very last move.

Aaron at the top of the wall, getting ready to rappel down to the climb. For the most part, the climbs at Diablo don't top out on the mesa because the rock becomes rotten near the top.

Aaron. The route was finished right around sunset, and Aaron wanted both of us to get the chance to climb the new route before we left. I started up in the fading light and Aaron climbed it in the dark.
