Skiing in New Mexico, Spring 2008

When spring finally arrives, all I really want to do is go climbing in the glorious sunshine. However, spring skiing is also pretty fun. The first pictures here are from the Santa Fe ski basin after a great post-season dump, March 10-12. The second set of pictures are from Taos on Memorial Day, and the classic spring Lake Fork tour. It was just Haj, me, and Aaron this weekend, because everyone else was off CLIMBING.

The sky was clear down lower on the ski hill. Here's Thorsten and Amy.

That Saturday, we went back up. More snow had fallen; this was one of my favorite ski days of the year! Here's Lenny hiking up.

Amy.

It's always windy at the top.
