Indian Creek Again, March 30-April 1, 2007

After our hut trips in the San Juans, Aaron and I continued on to Indian Creek. We climbed there through the weekend with friends from New Mexico.

About a half an hour out of Ridgeway, Aaron realized two things: 1) the snow on the hood of the car just wasn't coming off and 2) we needed ice in the cooler. He put 2 and 2 together and recycled the snow on our hood into the cooler.

The next morning, after a chilly night, sprinklers from the Dugout Ranch making frosty patches on the alfalfa.

Josh (very tiny in this picture) putting up a new route on the wall to climber's left of the Broken Tooth wall. "The 100th Monkey", his new route, is an 11- (?).

Josh over on the Broken Tooth wall.

This climb involves a crazy knee jam or calf jam (depending on leg size) to geth through a wide crack roof.

Aaaahhhhh....the nice big rest in a pod.

Back in the business.

The crux section is pretty short, just a couple of moves on rattley fingers.

Phew! It's all over when you latch the bomber hand jam at the top.
