Diablo Canyon and Skiing in Taos, April 2007

Our friend Elliot came out to visit from his sea-level home in California and we took him right up 10,000+ feet to ski Taos on a lovely spring day. We skied Kachina Peak; the snow was soft and pleasant. We climbed at El Rito the next day, but I didn't get any pictures there.

A few pictures from Diablo. We did "Suntoucher," a four pitch route near the lovely "Sun Devil." It was a good route but it veers from what we thought was the best line in a few places.

Oh, but first, the kitty, caught in a yawn.

Aaron on Suntoucher with the clouds building behind him. It actually, rather unbelievably, actually snowed on us a little.
