EPS 106 Field Trip: Nevada and California, October 25-27, 2001

This was the second of three EPS 106 field trips. We spent the first night in Tonopah, Nevada; the next day we went to the Chemetall Foote lithium mine (a bunch of briny ponds) in Silver Peak. We also saw some former gold mines in Goldfield. The next day we looked at the Poleta Folds near Westgard Pass, in California, near Big Pine.
